\nI am a little confused by the posts and responses you mentioned. Will the posts be the letters and then each student has to respond to the letter as a character? Also, will the entire class be working on the same wiki? What will you do about the limitations of the wiki in that only one person can edit the page at a time?

\nOther than that the lesson looks good and will do a great job of incorporating the technology.

\nI thought your lesson plan was perfect! If I had to offer a suggestion I guess it would be to consider homog. group versus hetero groups. I rely on hetero. groups so the students learn from on another and can help one another. However, in our video last week the point was made that we can help scaffold learning by having homog. groups that are at the same level and feel they can compete or interact on a more level playing field.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[{"id":"26025569","body":"I was not sure about how to group students. \nI have a few questions as I read your lesson plan:
\n-Do you plan on using technology for the learning logs? Maybe a blog?
\n-Will students be able to choose the format for the debate or will it be assigned?
\n-Could you create a rubric with the class as a group to assess the project so all students will know what is expected?
\n-I understand the students are taking on a specific viewpoint and debating their side but what is the problem they are attempting to solve?
\n
\nClarifying these items will help readers understand your plan a little more clearly.
